Heidi Armstrong is a successful TV and radio presenter who champions the cause of property ownership and small business success in Australia. Having founded a number of financial services businesses Heidi is no stranger to the sweat and tears required to start a business and turn it into a national operation. In 2014, Heidi sold her highly awarded online lending business State Custodians, to one of Australia’s largest wholesale funders. Heidi is also a consumer and small business advocate and is  passionate about property ownership and business success in Australia. Recognised in the industry as a leader who brings ideas to life, Heidi was awarded Best Industry Thought Leader at the 2014 Australian Lending Awards and returned as a judge in 2015. 

Heidi presents The Small Business and Property Barometer, which showcases the stories of successful Australian entrepreneurs, with Steve Price on national and regional Macquarie Radio Networks 2GB, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR. She is also the host of Business Success on Sky Business News which highlights innovative ideas to inspire business owners.

As a judge of the 2015 Australian Lending Awards, Heidi’s opinions and knowledge base are actively sought by the financial services industry. Heidi is an accomplished speaker that engages diverse audiences. In 2015, Heidi chaired the Next Generation Lending conference which saw leaders and senior managers from the banking and the NBFS sectors come together to discuss the latest developments in the retail and commercial lending space. Heidi also spoke at the 2015 Xerocon Melbourne about the future of small business, alongside Australian politician Bruce Bilson, former Xero CEO Chris Ridd, the CEO of the Institute of Public Accountants Andrew Conway and John Ball from Google.

She was also the keynote speaker at the 2014 Annual SME Banking Forum. Skilled at asking the questions to understand the road to business success, Heidi is an engaging host and educator. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Laws and Diploma of Finance.
